Creation of picture "Connection to nowhere"

This is a brief review of how this picture is made.

Connection to nowhere

The way I work is that I often creates the image in my head and then try to realize it in the physical world, and this is how the above picture is made.

The easiest way to do this was to cut it out of cardboard, glue it together and then spray paint it as you can see in the picture below.

I have not glued on the top, so that if I ever need it, I can lift it and install lights, you never know :)

This one is of course quite simple, I made a rough polystyrene core and molded clay around just by imagination and finally placed little moss in strategic locations, as you can see in the picture below.

The observant person will see that the phone booth are scaled down in Photoshop because it was necessary to build it bigger than it should be used, otherwise it was almost impossible to cut it out in a proper quality.


And finally I added fog with a smoke cannon, you can see the smoke cannon here on the Blog in The Flying Dutchman.
